Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Benoit Faber charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benoit Faber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benoit Faber hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Herve Kaufmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Robertsau's Jean-Marie Morvan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Gallois kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Herve Kaufmann took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Marie Morvan. Jean-Marie Morvan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jacques Messager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Chappaz having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Georges Carbon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacques Messager recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmond Chappaz was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Georges Carbon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Georges Carbon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 40th minute Carl Marcus suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Georges Carbon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Robertsau's supporters rose to their feet, but Georges Carbon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Chappaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Gustave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georges Carbon made a kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Georges Carbon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Somain's Edmond Chappaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Georges Carbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Edmond Chappaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blaise Giret hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rene Gustave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Morvan having to interfere. In the 69th minute Herve Kaufmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Morvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Gustave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Morvan having to interfere. If Edouard Bats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Robertsau getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Corentin Paty hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Somain's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Messager came free, but Edmond Chappaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Robertsau fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Robertsau's Jacques Messager looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rene Gustave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jean-Marie Morvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Somain's Franck Morange seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Franck Morange the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Somain protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Franck Morange had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Robertsau fans cheered their team off the field, for while Somain had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
