Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Herve Kaufmann made the kick off which started today's match. David Lannoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Herve Kaufmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Somain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montreuil the free kick. After a rather tough play, Somain's Herve Kaufmann got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Rene Gustave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Montreuil's goalkeeper Brandon Imhoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Gustave. Jérôme Jaffres kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Herve Kaufmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Marcus during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carl Marcus hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Herve Kaufmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brandon Imhoff having to make a save. Edmond Chappaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lannoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Lannoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Carl Marcus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brandon Imhoff. Carl Marcus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Brandon Imhoff came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Somain's Rene Gustave. But to his dismay, Rene Gustave quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Lannoy was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Herve Kaufmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Imhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Imhoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Gustave, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rene Gustave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Imhoff having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Flavian Fleuret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute David Lannoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Chappaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Imhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Gustave in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herve Kaufmann in the 79th minute of play forced Montreuil's goalkeeper Brandon Imhoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Gustave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Brandon Imhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herve Kaufmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Imhoff having to interfere. Rene Gustave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Moussa Bellini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Carl Marcus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somain's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Marcus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Imhoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Jérôme Jaffres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montreuil's Brandon Imhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herve Kaufmann in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montreuil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Somain.
