Carl Marcus hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Benjamin Lamour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herve Kaufmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Somain's Herve Kaufmann in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bronvaux's goalie prevented a goal. Somain's Edmond Chappaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Somain from getting a goal against them. Renaud Volle in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edmond Chappaz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Somain booed when Bronvaux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Creteur's late challenge caught a Somain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Creteur helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Bronvaux got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Creteur. Benoit Faber, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bronvaux's Benjamin Lamour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herve Kaufmann in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Somain's goalkeeper Edmond Chappaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romain Delos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Bronvaux's Joe Orain broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 59th minute, Marcel Creteur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bronvaux's Benjamin Lamour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herve Kaufmann in the 60th minute of play. When Aurelien Collier fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bronvaux's protests and gave Aurelien Collier a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelien Collier kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Rene Gustave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Herve Kaufmann rounded Bronvaux's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Benjamin Lamour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herve Kaufmann in the 72nd minute of the match. Rene Gustave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herve Kaufmann in the 79th minute of play forced Bronvaux's goalkeeper Benjamin Lamour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benoit Faber hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bronvaux's Joe Orain tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. During the 90th minute of the match Carl Marcus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carl Marcus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carl Marcus hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Joe Orain, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 98 minutes into the game, Edouard Bats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Benjamin Lamour was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Bronvaux supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Somain's performance. The match ended with a win for Somain.
