Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thibault Lelandais got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes, Yvan Werner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montarmot and the Larnac players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yvan Werner hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With his leg Amine Cloarec managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Montarmot's Charles-Henri Sittler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Larnac's Martial Le Moullec got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustave Josserand in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amine Cloarec saved Larnac from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustave Josserand in the 14th minute of play forced Larnac's goalkeeper Amine Cloarec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Montarmot's goal looked a bit too open when Thibault Lelandais came free, but Marouane Soret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montarmot's Marouane Soret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathys Doret in the 20th minute of play. When Gustave Josserand came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Montarmot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustave Josserand couldn't finish the play. Marouane Soret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibault Lelandais in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Montarmot's Daryl Mairet got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Mathys Doret came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Larnac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathys Doret couldn't finish the play. Amine Cloarec was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Gustave Josserand capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustave Josserand really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Charles-Henri Sittler succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 40th playminute. If Mathys Doret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thibault Lelandais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marouane Soret having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Stéphane Beurel's late challenge caught a Montarmot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stéphane Beurel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Montarmot booed when Larnac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stéphane Beurel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Montarmot were awarded a corner. Yvan Werner went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 61st minute of the match Montarmot got a corner. Larnac's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yvan Werner ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Yvan Werner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amine Cloarec quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathys Doret got free with Marouane Soret in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Larnac getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jocelyn Vignaux hit a great ball. If Charles-Henri Sittler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thibault Lelandais's late challenge caught a Montarmot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 82nd minute, Martial Le Moullec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Montarmot's Yvan Werner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Charles-Henri Sittler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Amine Cloarec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
