If Joel Fauquembergue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Battut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Olivier Piou, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Harold Carlier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Millery got a freekick which was hit by Simon Lehoux. After a defensive mix-up in Millery's zone, Joel Fauquembergue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephane Lequien came out of the goal and Joel Fauquembergue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, Roques was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Le Mat to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Brice Chenot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millery's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roques the free kick. The supporters of Roques booed when Millery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Chenot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roques were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Millery's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romuald Cosse took the corner. The corner led to Roques's Gilbert Le Breton getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harold Carlier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Lorenzo Henno took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Robert Battut to make any attempt to save it. Millery's Stephane Lequien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Carlier in the 60th minute of play. Dorian Rochet kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pierre-Olivier Piou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Robert Battut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Battut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Henno in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Lorenzo Henno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Millery's Hocine Alcaraz got a free kick in the 78th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Roques's Romuald Cosse tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Roques booed when Millery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hocine Alcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Harold Carlier notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Millery's Stephane Lequien. Stephane Lequien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pierre-Olivier Piou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Battut having to interfere. Pierre-Olivier Piou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephane Lequien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harold Carlier went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
