Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charles-Henri Chaperon kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Millery defense, Achille Plane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stephane Lequien. The Millery fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephane Lequien should have stopped the shot. René Lachambre kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Joachim Février made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Pierre-Olivier Piou sent off a good shot on target. Stephane Lequien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Henri Chaperon in the 13th minute of the match. Achille Plane struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Stephane Lequien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verlinghem. In the 20th match minute, Millery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regis Million to maneuver through the defense. Charles-Henri Chaperon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephane Lequien having to interfere. Stephane Lequien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles-Henri Chaperon, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Pierre-Olivier Piou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achille Plane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Stephane Lequien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Charles-Henri Chaperon came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Verlinghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles-Henri Chaperon couldn't finish the play. In the 41stth minute of the game Achille Plane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Millery's Stephane Lequien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Verlinghem getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Charles-Henri Bodereau hit a great ball. The Millery players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Verlinghem were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Henno to make the kick off. When Millery's Pierre-Olivier Piou in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verlinghem's goalie prevented a goal. Charles-Henri Chaperon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Millery's Stephane Lequien got control of the ball when Achille Plane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Verlinghem's Joachim Février played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Henno in the 56th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Millery got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Henno. René Lachambre's late challenge caught a Millery's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. René Lachambre helped the player get up and apologised. René Lachambre kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When René Lachambre was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 72nd minute, René Lachambre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Millery's Emmanuel Chassain broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Achille Plane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stephane Lequien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Verlinghem's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Henno came free, but Joachim Février reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Verlinghem booed when Millery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Chassain didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Verlinghem had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
