The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Pulversheim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chalusson:s goal. The referee gave Chalusson a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Francois Rios, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pulversheim's Maël Charpy. 0-1. In the 13th minute Maurice Gorge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maël Charpy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christophe Lanza during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pulversheim's Christophe Lanza got a free kick in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Chalusson's Francois Rios broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Charles-Henri Larrue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pulversheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles-Henri Larrue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pulversheim's zone, Maurice Gorge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maël Charpy came out of the goal and Maurice Gorge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Chalusson's Alix Taillard got control of the ball when Flavian Mazars tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kader Mourot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alix Taillard having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Pulversheim got a freekick which was hit by Victor Siebert. 40 minutes into the game, Fabrice Droit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chalusson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pulversheim the free kick. After 40 played minutes Chalusson got a freekick which was hit by Fabrice Droit. With his leg Maël Charpy managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Chalusson's Maurice Gorge fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 74 minutes into the match, Chalusson's goal looked a bit too open when Kader Mourot came free, but Alix Taillard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Kader Mourot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes Chalusson got a freekick which was hit by Fabrice Droit. In the 82nd minute, Kader Mourot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierrick Buis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Sam Frugier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kader Mourot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pulversheim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chalusson's performance. The match ended with a win for Chalusson.
