After a defensive mix-up in Chapet's zone, Flavien Nègre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvin Chantepie came out of the goal and Flavien Nègre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Le Bellec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Grillet, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Chapet booed when Reiningue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Christ didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Brandon Grillet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Le Bellec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Grillet in the 34th minute of the match. If Bakary Schwob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Reiningue booed when Chapet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berenger Sahraoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Melvin Christ shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calvin Chantepie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rd minute Brandon Grillet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Le Bellec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brandon Grillet came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Chapet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brandon Grillet couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Flavien Nègre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calvin Chantepie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Romuald Meline hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Reiningue's Bakary Schwob, in the 65th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Reiningue. In the game's 70th minute Chapet's Bryan Kirsch took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Xavier Le Bellec and thus the score was 2-1. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Reiningue's goalkeeper Xavier Le Bellec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melvin Christ was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 100th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Reiningue's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
