Alban Pagano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Edet in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Noyarey's Gerard Manson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Rouiller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Cyprien Bonnefoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alban Pagano was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Charlie Rouiller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Manson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Raoul Coat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martial Delaye during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute Cyprien Bonnefoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alban Pagano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Rouiller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Manson in the 59th minute of play. If Leon Andrieux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Cyprien Bonnefoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cyprien Bonnefoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Prosper Bodereau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Edet came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alban Pagano could save by the left post. Cyprien Bonnefoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alban Pagano having to interfere. The supporters of Noyarey booed when Bouquiniére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Paul Pitou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bouquiniére's zone, Jason Lami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Rouiller came out of the goal and Jason Lami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Manson in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charlie Rouiller saved Bouquiniére from getting behind. When Leon Andrieux came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Noyarey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Andrieux couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
