Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Ulysse Jamot fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vence's protests and gave Ulysse Jamot a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Banneix's Marcel Boisard got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Banneix's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Constantin Ravenel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute of the match Emilien Champion shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Pascal Pelletier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Léopold Grandidier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Banneix's Yves Pitard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Banneix from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Marcel Boisard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yves Pitard had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Constantin Ravenel from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 27 played minutes Banneix got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Boisard. Banneix's Marcel Boisard got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre-Emmanuel Benjamin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Léopold Grandidier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yves Pitard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Banneix's Pierre-Emmanuel Benjamin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Pascal Pelletier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Vence got a freekick which was hit by Noé Troude. Ronan Delaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Marcel Boisard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jean-Pascal Pelletier made a huge save. In the 56th minute, one of Vence:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vence. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Banneix. Ronan Delaire stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jean-Pascal Pelletier. 1-1. Léopold Grandidier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Yves Pitard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léopold Grandidier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Pitard having to interfere. Pierre-Emmanuel Benjamin scored 1-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Pascal Pelletier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean-Michel Therin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Vence got a freekick which was hit by Ulysse Jamot. If Jean-Michel Therin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Léopold Grandidier came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vence fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léopold Grandidier couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
