Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hervé Schmidt started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Hervé Schmidt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montgeron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Montgeron's Cyril Venturi got control of the ball when David Defontaine tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Chavoire booed when Montgeron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Sébastien Lapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Lechartier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Chauvot in the 12th minute of play forced Montgeron's goalkeeper Cyril Venturi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyril Venturi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Chauvot in the 13th minute. If David Defontaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Chauvot in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cyril Venturi saved Montgeron from getting behind. A collision led to Chavoire getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Antoine Rouge hit a great ball. Montgeron's Bruno Ronsin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chavoire. Louis Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hervé Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Chavoire got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Ledroit. When Montgeron's Hervé Schmidt in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chavoire's goalie prevented a goal. Adam Morvan charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Morvan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chavoire getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Adam Morvan hit a great ball. Louis Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hervé Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Léo Duvigneau fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chavoire's protests and gave Léo Duvigneau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Chavoire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Duvigneau to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Lechartier scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louis Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by David Defontaine got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hervé Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Victor Chauvot made the kick off in the second half. Cyril Venturi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chavoire's Victor Chauvot. But to his dismay, Victor Chauvot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cyril Venturi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Chauvot in the 58th minute of the match. Hervé Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Louis Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hervé Schmidt in the 63rd minute of play. Jean-Michel Gasse kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Cyril Venturi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Defontaine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chavoire booed when Montgeron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Sébastien Lapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Montgeron's Jonas Lechartier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Louis Martinez. Louis Martinez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Hervé Schmidt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Louis Martinez was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Victor Chauvot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chavoire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After having played for 96 minutes, Jonas Lechartier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montgeron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Lechartier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Madjid Ledroit charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Madjid Ledroit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Hervé Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Montgeron supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Montgeron would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
