The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francis Mur kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Drap's Tommy Maquaire got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franklin Paineau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alban Alric in the 8th minute of play. Joffrey Ferrandon came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Danny Briquet could save by the left post. Drap's Danny Briquet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Drap from getting a goal against them. Alban Alric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Paineau having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Maquaire in the 21st minute of play forced Moifond's goalkeeper Franklin Paineau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Maquaire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Paineau having to interfere. When Alban Alric came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Drap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alban Alric couldn't finish the play. Ludovic Basque kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Arnaud Derambure's late challenge caught a Drap's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaud Derambure helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Moifond's Arnaud Derambure got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Dumonteil in the 34th minute of play forced Moifond's goalkeeper Franklin Paineau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joffrey Ferrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Terrisse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Danny Briquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Briquet made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Joffrey Ferrandon sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Drap's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Terrisse came free, but Danny Briquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joffrey Ferrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Paineau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alban Alric in the 50th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alban Alric to strike the kick off in the second half. Joffrey Ferrandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Briquet having to interfere. Jean-Michel Audoux charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Michel Audoux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Jean-Michel Audoux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joffrey Ferrandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Maquaire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Franklin Paineau made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Moifond's Remi Guilloux got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Tommy Maquaire's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Franklin Paineau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Franklin Paineau made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Tommy Maquaire sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Drap's Maurice Dumonteil got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Terrisse in the 80th minute of play forced Drap's goalkeeper Danny Briquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Drap's Ferdinand Vasselin got a free kick in the 90th minute. Harold Terrisse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Danny Briquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacques Guignon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Danny Briquet. Drap's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
