Revolère's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles-Henri Mondon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaud Capelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renaud Capelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Deligny in the 20th minute of the match. Roman Deligny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Revolère defense, Bakary Le Moullec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Redouane Bourdon. The Revolère fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Redouane Bourdon should have stopped the shot. Claude Hamard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Redouane Bourdon having to make a save. When Bakary Le Moullec came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bioge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bakary Le Moullec couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claude Hamard made a kick off. Roman Deligny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Revolère's Charles-Henri Mondon got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Revolère's Redouane Bourdon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Hamard in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bakary Le Moullec in the 62nd minute of play forced Revolère's goalkeeper Redouane Bourdon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Flavian Dion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles-Henri Mondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles-Henri Mondon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute.
