If Valérien Moutard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Prouvy's zone, Valérien Moutard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominique Lecanu came out of the goal and Valérien Moutard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Brassilly's Mounir Boisset got a free kick in the 21st minute. Eddy Boissinot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Maximilien Morisseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Boissinot struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Maximilien Morisseau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prouvy. Prouvy's Jack Bréard got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddy Boissinot got free with Maximilien Morisseau in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddy Boissinot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Jack Bréard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximilien Morisseau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jack Bréard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilien Morisseau was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After having played for 49 minutes, Jack Bréard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prouvy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Bréard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustin Eustache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Paulo Caudron put in a rough tackle. Valérien Moutard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominique Lecanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Valérien Moutard slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. Brassilly's Maximilien Morisseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Boissinot in the 67th minute of play. Faustin Eustache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71stth minute of the game Faustin Eustache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prouvy's Dominique Lecanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddy Boissinot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prouvy's Dominique Lecanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Prouvy from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brassilly walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
