Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stanislas Salvi made the kick off which started today's match. Charles Castagnet kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Stanislas Salvi charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislas Salvi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Saveuse's Firmin Dupart dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Saveuse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gael Edel to maneuver through the defense. If Firmin Dupart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Vittet in the 21st minute of play forced Saveuse's goalkeeper Kevin Jaunet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malik Husson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Firmin Dupart in the 25th minute. Lorenzo Vicente's late challenge caught a Mareuil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Vicente helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Saveuse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Vicente to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Saveuse's Firmin Dupart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malik Husson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Saveuse's Firmin Dupart got a free kick in the 38th minute. Noel Vittet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Jaunet having to interfere. Eugene Elie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynald Chabbert to make the kick off. Malik Husson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firmin Dupart in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynald Chabbert in the 57th minute of play forced Saveuse's goalkeeper Kevin Jaunet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Vittet might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Jaunet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Vittet ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Yannick Suteau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Jaunet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel Vittet went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Malik Husson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislas Salvi in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Salomon Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mareuil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomon Walker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malik Husson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislas Salvi in the 82nd minute of play. Firmin Dupart struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Malik Husson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saveuse. Stanislas Salvi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Husson having to interfere. If Noel Vittet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saveuse fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mareuil had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
