The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Dugast got free with Harold Bastien in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Matignon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Gelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Brian Dugast's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harold Bastien was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Morre's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Dugast came free, but Harold Bastien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Morre getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Richard Rouyer hit a great ball. The supporters of Lironde booed when Morre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Rouyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harold Bastien was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Brian Dugast capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brian Dugast really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mohamed Gelly struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Samuel Matignon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morre.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brendan Rudelle made a kick off. In the 68th match minute, Morre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Chêneau to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Malfait in the 72nd minute of play forced Morre's goalkeeper Harold Bastien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Dugast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Harold Bastien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morre's Harold Bastien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Dugast in the 79th minute of play. Sam Druon hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Mohamed Gelly who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Samuel Matignon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brian Dugast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Harold Bastien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Grégoire Desormeaux put in a rough tackle. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Morre! Ali Verdon shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
