Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Christophe Vercruysse started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Chereng's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Vercruysse came free, but Henri Périé reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romaric Buch got free with Henri Périé in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pierre-Antoine Vouillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jean-Paul Cazaubon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislas Perie during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Eguilles getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Stanislas Perie hit a great ball. If Pierre-Antoine Vouillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 26 minutes of play Eguilles's Stanislas Perie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cheikh Loche was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, Gérard Gallardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chereng and the Eguilles players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Eguilles booed when Chereng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gérard Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romaric Buch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Henri Périé skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jean-Paul Cazaubon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Antoine Vouillon went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jean-Paul Cazaubon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Vouillon in the 46th minute of play.
If Pacôme Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Paul Cazaubon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre-Antoine Vouillon in the 56th minute. Romaric Buch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri Périé having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eguilles! Cheikh Loche walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Henri Périé took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghislain Anglade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Antoine Vouillon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Paul Cazaubon having to make a save. Eguilles's Jean-Paul Cazaubon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacôme Henry in the 82nd minute of play. If Christophe Vercruysse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Eguilles's zone, Pacôme Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Paul Cazaubon came out of the goal and Pacôme Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Charles Fradet fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chereng's protests and gave Charles Fradet a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Chereng got a freekick which was hit by Charles Fradet. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chereng walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
