Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Raffuneau's Alphonse Micheli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cedric Sergent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Maris in the 3rd minute. Axel Maris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cedric Sergent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Maris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Cedric Sergent made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Raffuneau's zone, Jacques Moutama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cedric Sergent came out of the goal and Jacques Moutama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ménardais booed when Raffuneau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Dubreil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Raffuneau's Joey Salmon got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Axel Maris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ménardais's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Maris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cedric Sergent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Philippe Dauvergne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Morello. Ménardais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philippe Dauvergne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Philippe Dauvergne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Axel Maris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cedric Sergent made a huge save. Ménardais's Jacques Moutama got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ménardais's Jose Morello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphonse Micheli in the 35th minute of play. Mehdi Husser kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Willy Gilles, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jacques Moutama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cedric Sergent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rene Dazy fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ménardais's protests and gave Rene Dazy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Ménardais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Dazy to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Alphonse Micheli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Morello was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After having played for 48 minutes, Jacques Moutama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ménardais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacques Moutama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ménardais players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Raffuneau were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Jacques Moutama made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Raffuneau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Salmon to maneuver through the defense. Philippe Dauvergne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacques Moutama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Morello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Micheli in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alphonse Micheli in the 79th minute of play forced Ménardais's goalkeeper Jose Morello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alphonse Micheli took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Morello. Jose Morello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jose Morello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alphonse Micheli, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A collision led to Ménardais getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ramzi Obry hit a great ball. The supporters of Raffuneau booed when Ménardais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Dazy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Rene Dazy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Ménardais's goal looked a bit too open when Alphonse Micheli came free, but Jose Morello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raffuneau's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
