Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Soudan kicked off to start the match. Jean-Cyrille Deschamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Soudan in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Boris Boeuf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Cyrille Deschamps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Manuel Soudan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Cyrille Deschamps was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alou Cluzeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Raphael Burgaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Manuel Soudan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thierry Durel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thierry Durel struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Raphael Burgaud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juffly. In the 38th minute Alou Cluzeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Burgaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Juffly booed when Cabestany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blaise Chaigne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Cabestany's goalkeeper Raphael Burgaud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Djibril Bury. Juffly's Jean-Cyrille Deschamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Soudan in the 46th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alou Cluzeau was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Cabestany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Fayol to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Manuel Soudan took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jean-Cyrille Deschamps to make any attempt to save it. Francois Deplanque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Durel in the 61st minute of play forced Cabestany's goalkeeper Raphael Burgaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cabestany's Samuel Baumont got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Alou Cluzeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alou Cluzeau in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Burgaud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boris Boeuf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Cyrille Deschamps made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Boris Boeuf sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Cyrille Deschamps was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manuel Soudan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cabestany walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
