When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Maurice Albertini took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ludovic Bernal to make any attempt to save it. 8 minutes into the match, Sacha Chiquet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Chartrain. Lorette's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sacha Chiquet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Maurice Albertini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ludovic Bernal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Corzent getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Philibert Corroyer hit a great ball. Sacha Chiquet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Chartrain having to interfere. When Donovan Doury fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corzent's protests and gave Donovan Doury a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Hugo Martens sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Corzent's Ludovic Bernal didn't even have to move. 34 minutes into the match, Corzent's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Albertini came free, but Ludovic Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lorette booed when Corzent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Doury didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorette were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Corzent's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Martens took the corner. At last the ball reached Franklin Fleurot at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Corzent. 2-1. Marcel Bodereau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludovic Bernal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Corzent got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Bachellerie. Corzent's Carl Trotin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Bodereau was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Maurice Albertini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lorette fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Carl Trotin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Rene Chartrain made a huge save. Sofiane Riche hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Lorette got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Sene. Carl Trotin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rene Chartrain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Fleurot hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lorette getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Christopher Dragon hit a great ball. Carl Trotin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rene Chartrain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludovic Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Albertini in the 74th minute of the match. Carl Trotin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Chartrain having to interfere. Ludovic Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Albertini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludovic Bernal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lorette's Maurice Albertini shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 89 minutes into the match, Marcel Bodereau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludovic Bernal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Maurice Albertini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lorette's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurice Albertini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludovic Bernal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute Marcel Bodereau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludovic Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
