Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yvan Quercy made the kick off which started today's match. Patrick Chouteau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Joaquim Uzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Grignon getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Donatien Pigot hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Chouteau in the 17th minute of play forced Grignon's goalkeeper Joaquim Uzan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Uzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Chouteau in the 19th minute of play. Grignon's Joaquim Uzan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barthélémy Florence in the 22nd minute of play. Renan Leterrier charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Leterrier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacob Carrot walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Marouane Rouard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patrick Chouteau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Uzan having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melvin Alard during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Grignon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melvin Alard to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Barthélémy Florence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marouane Rouard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yvan Quercy, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barthélémy Florence to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yvan Quercy in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marouane Rouard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Regis Dreux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grignon's Melvin Alard got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Uzan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Chouteau went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grignon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Longueau. Martial Couvert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquim Uzan. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis Dreux in the 75th minute of play forced Longueau's goalkeeper Marouane Rouard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Regis Dreux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grignon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Basile Villot's late challenge caught a Longueau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basile Villot helped the player get up and apologised. Basile Villot kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Grignon's Joaquim Uzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Grignon from getting a goal against them.
