Malcom Alex in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jean-Paul Armbruster, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mehdi Soulat hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Malcom Alex sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pierre-Antoine Bonnot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joffrey Vandenbussche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Wilfried Belot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malcom Alex recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehdi Soulat's late challenge caught a Longvic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehdi Soulat helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Phalempin getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mehdi Soulat hit a great ball. Jean-Paul Armbruster acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Augustin Labarbe. 45 minutes into the match, Longvic's goal looked a bit too open when Mehdi Soulat came free, but Darren Loaec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joffrey Vandenbussche made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Claude Kientz lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Darren Loaec. Jean-Paul Armbruster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Bonnot in the 55th minute of play. Zinedine Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Darren Loaec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Joffrey Vandenbussche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phalempin's supporters rose to their feet, but Joffrey Vandenbussche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Loaec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claude Kientz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darren Loaec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joffrey Vandenbussche in the 65th minute of the match. Claude Kientz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Darren Loaec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Longvic's Darren Loaec got control of the ball when Claude Kientz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Longvic's Darren Loaec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joffrey Vandenbussche in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Pierre-Antoine Bonnot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Armbruster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phalempin's Joffrey Vandenbussche was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
