Gaël Marcus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaël Marcus during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lutterbach booed when Limay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaël Marcus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphaël Huyghe struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Johnny Schulz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Alfred Romanet made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Raoul Malfait sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaël Marcus was the one to do the kick off. Hector Heckmann charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Heckmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Heckmann hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gaël Marcus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes Lutterbach got a freekick which was hit by Melvin Pesnel. In the 58th minute of the match Hamid Vachon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Romanet skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Lutterbach's Ange Gastaldi got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes, Limay's Hamid Vachon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfred Romanet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Limay reached it. If Ramzy Mourlon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Gabin Hédin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lutterbach and the Limay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raphaël Huyghe scored 2-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Schulz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raoul Malfait sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabin Hédin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Raphaël Huyghe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Lutterbach's goal looked a bit too open when Hippolyte Legeay came free, but Alfred Romanet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gabin Hédin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
