The referee ignored Montesson's protests and gave Bryan Tourne a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Montesson got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Tourne. Montade's Raphaël Thepot couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Montesson. If Philippe Dreyfus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philippe Dreyfus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Eric Baldy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montade the free kick. A collision led to Montesson getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eric Baldy hit a great ball. A hard shot by Raphaël Thepot from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Ludovic Laisney's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Philippe Dreyfus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ludovic Laisney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe Dreyfus, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Montade's Brice Després played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinedine Payot in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Philippe Dreyfus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philippe Dreyfus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danny Severin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brice Després tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Danny Severin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludovic Laisney made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Manuel Plantard sent off a good shot on target.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philippe Dreyfus was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Philippe Dreyfus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montade's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Dreyfus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludovic Laisney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Montesson's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe Dreyfus came free, but Ludovic Laisney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Plantard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montade's Brice Després proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Montade from getting a goal against them. Montade's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Danny Severin scored to the left of an out of position Brice Després, making the score, 2-2. Danny Severin scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Després, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Montesson's Ludovic Laisney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Plantard in the 96th minute of play. Montade's Philippe Dreyfus got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Montesson eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
