Serge Carrere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryan Tourne during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Montesson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Tourne to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Montesson defense, Serge Carrere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludovic Laisney. The Montesson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludovic Laisney should have stopped the shot. Allan De Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinedine Payot, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute Zinedine Payot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan De Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Danny Severin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Froidcul's zone, Danny Severin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan De Carvalho came out of the goal and Danny Severin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zinedine Payot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Froidcul's zone, Zinedine Payot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan De Carvalho came out of the goal and Zinedine Payot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Froidcul getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Guy Bros hit a great ball. Allan De Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinedine Payot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Zinedine Payot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan De Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Danny Severin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Montesson players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Froidcul were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Zinedine Payot made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Zinedine Payot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 minutes, Billy Deman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Froidcul and the Montesson players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 66 in the game by Roman Amat from a close distance when the talented Ludovic Laisney managed to make a qualified save. Montesson's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Severin in the 72nd minute of play forced Froidcul's goalkeeper Allan De Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zinedine Payot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Allan De Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Zinedine Payot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan De Carvalho. Froidcul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zinedine Payot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 86 minutes into the match, Montesson's goalkeeper Ludovic Laisney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Amat. 88 minutes in the game, Serge Carrere fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ludovic Laisney having to interfere. Froidcul's Auguste Roland suffered a concussion after 89 minutes and had to leave the field. Fernand Viola's late challenge caught a Froidcul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernand Viola helped the player get up and apologised. Fernand Viola kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Roman Amat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ludovic Laisney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Deman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Montesson had won after a very even match.
