Cormontreuil's Martial Saumon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofiane Cozette in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Samy Christiaens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormontreuil's supporters rose to their feet, but Samy Christiaens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Rossard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Greux's Sofiane Cozette in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cormontreuil's goalie prevented a goal. Sofiane Cozette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martial Saumon having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Baptiste Julienne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20thth minute of the game Romain Boulant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greux's Joaquim Rossard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romain Boulant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joaquim Rossard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Sofiane Cozette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Saumon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Dhaussy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martial Saumon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Sofiane Cozette notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cormontreuil's Martial Saumon. Martial Saumon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Dhaussy hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Romain Boulant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joaquim Rossard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Sofiane Cozette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sofiane Cozette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romain Boulant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sofiane Cozette might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martial Saumon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sofiane Cozette ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Hugo Dhaussy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hugo Dhaussy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Dhaussy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Greux's Hugo Dhaussy in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cormontreuil's goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Cormontreuil's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Dhaussy came free, but Martial Saumon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofiane Cozette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martial Saumon having to interfere. The supporters of Greux booed when Cormontreuil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyril Vieille didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Dhaussy in the 74th minute of play forced Cormontreuil's goalkeeper Martial Saumon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cormontreuil's zone, Sofiane Cozette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martial Saumon came out of the goal and Sofiane Cozette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Tremoulet's late challenge caught a Greux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Tremoulet helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Cormontreuil got a freekick which was hit by Christian Tremoulet. 80 minutes into the match, Cormontreuil's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Dhaussy came free, but Martial Saumon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Greux's Hugo Dhaussy in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cormontreuil's goalie prevented a goal. Maurice Vienne kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Maxime Marchet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Hugo Dhaussy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cormontreuil's Martial Saumon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Baptiste Julienne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greux's supporters rose to their feet, but Baptiste Julienne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Saumon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Greux played a much better game than Cormontreuil and deserved their victory. The Cormontreuil players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
