The supporters of Vèrinas booed when Fontanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Noblet didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jean-Michel Le Bris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Steven Claire kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Loïc Picque. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Guillaume Bordeaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jean-Michel Le Bris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Augustin Pelé blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexis Savignac having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Fontanas's Guillaume Bordeaux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexis Savignac narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vèrinas's Alexis Savignac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Bordeaux in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Claire in the 30th minute of play forced Fontanas's goalkeeper Loïc Picque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillaume Bordeaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alexis Savignac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Michel Le Bris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loïc Picque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Claire in the 46th minute of the match. Alexis Savignac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Pelé, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillaume Bordeaux to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexis Savignac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Dieval in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Fontanas's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Michel Le Bris came free, but Loïc Picque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Guillaume Bordeaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexis Savignac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Michel Le Bris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loïc Picque having to interfere. Augustin Pelé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Savignac having to interfere. After 76 played minutes, Fontanas's Jimmy Dupraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexis Savignac came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fontanas reached it. In the 78th minute, Barthelemy Guicherd made a precise shot to the right of Loïc Picque. Fontanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jean-Michel Le Bris struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Loïc Picque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vèrinas. If Steven Claire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loïc Picque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Claire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marouane Casanova during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Marouane Casanova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Pelé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Vèrinas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
