Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fontanas's Guillaume Bordeaux started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Fontanas's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Fosset came free, but Loïc Picque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chatron's goalkeeper Stanislas Druesne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chatron's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Guillaume Bordeaux 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Chatron's Lamine Fosset got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lamine Fosset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chatron's supporters rose to their feet, but Lamine Fosset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loïc Picque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Léopold Cailly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loïc Picque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fontanas booed when Chatron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Maisonnave didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Chatron got a freekick which was hit by Émeric Koenig. Jean Léglise, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Léopold Cailly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loïc Picque having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Billy Dieval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loïc Picque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léopold Cailly went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Redouane Lahaye hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Lamine Fosset might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loïc Picque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lamine Fosset ran back to his position shaking his head. Loïc Picque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léopold Cailly's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the match, Augustin Pelé had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stanislas Druesne. Chatron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Pelé was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 65 minutes into the game, Fontanas's Guillaume Bordeaux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanislas Druesne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Léopold Cailly's late challenge caught a Fontanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léopold Cailly helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fontanas booed when Chatron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léopold Cailly didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Dupraz during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fontanas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jimmy Dupraz hit a great ball. Loïc Picque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Ducruet in the 76th minute of the match. Augustin Pelé blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanislas Druesne having to make a save. Émeric Koenig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loïc Picque having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chatron players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fontanas.
