Ferdinand Montfort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislas Crepeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard, long distance shot from Billy Dumain flew over the goal. Dan Brunaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bousse's Billy Dumain got a free kick in the 13th minute. Aime Dupin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaud Massip in the 20th minute of the match. Gerald Clerc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Montfort having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald Clerc in the 28th minute of play forced Frontignan's goalkeeper Ferdinand Montfort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Frontignan's Renaud Massip in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bousse's goalie prevented a goal. Stanislas Crepeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Montfort having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Lepere during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Frontignan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Lepere to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Frontignan got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Lepere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Stanislas Crepeau dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferdinand Montfort, 0-1. Aime Dupin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renaud Massip, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Frontignan's Dan Brunaud got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Lacrouts charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Lacrouts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rene Lacrouts hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Billy Dumain hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renaud Massip in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aime Dupin saved Bousse from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renaud Massip in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aime Dupin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Gerald Clerc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bousse's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerald Clerc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Montfort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinand Montfort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerald Clerc in the 71st minute of play. If Renaud Massip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Bousse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Pesce to maneuver through the defense. Renaud Massip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Frontignan's Renaud Massip in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bousse's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute, Dan Brunaud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aime Dupin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 88th match minute, Frontignan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Baptiste Merlaud to maneuver through the defense. When Gerald Clerc fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bousse's protests and gave Gerald Clerc a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bousse getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gerald Clerc hit a great ball. Ferdinand Montfort made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislas Crepeau in the 96th minute. Frontignan succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bousse had controlled the match.
