Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilbert Le Bris got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Chazal in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspard Manche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mike Bar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franz Chazal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspard Manche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Jules Brin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Télindière's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ménardais the free kick. In the 17th minute, Jules Brin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspard Manche was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franz Chazal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Franz Chazal struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gaspard Manche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ménardais. After having played for 30 minutes, Mike Bar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ménardais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Bar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Chazal in the 32nd minute of play forced Télindière's goalkeeper Gaspard Manche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Télindière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Derycke to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Molinie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Le Bris, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Télindière's Gilbert Le Bris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Molinie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mike Bar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franz Chazal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Le Bris in the 56th minute of play forced Ménardais's goalkeeper Isaac Molinie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Le Bris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Molinie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Le Bris in the 68th minute of the match. Gilbert Le Bris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Molinie having to interfere. Emmanuel Derycke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emmanuel Derycke got free with Isaac Molinie in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mike Bar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Bessard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gaspard Manche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Chazal in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspard Manche saved Télindière from getting behind. After some careless play in the Télindière defense, Franz Chazal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspard Manche. The Télindière fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspard Manche should have stopped the shot.
