Paul-Henri Koessler charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul-Henri Koessler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Peyrade booed when Ecouen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Henri Koessler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Salim Bertet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Cabon was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After having played for 19 minutes, Maurice Cazeaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Hardouin got free with Brice Sebille in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rayan Hantz in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Sebille prevented the ball from getting in the gole. John Cabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Bertet in the 64th minute of the match. Maurice Cazeaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cabon having to interfere.
