Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gardanne's Marco Chareyron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes, Gardanne's Johan Le Bihan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augustin Paradis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gardanne reached it. Bilal Péret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaétan Alberto in the 6th minute of play. Augustin Paradis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Chareyron in the 15th minute of the match. Gardanne's Moïse Leproust got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gardanne's Bilal Péret proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Gardanne from getting a goal against them. When Gaétan Alberto came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Millery fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaétan Alberto couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Millery's Gaétan Alberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bilal Péret. Bilal Péret yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Said during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gardanne getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Roman Said hit a great ball. After 31 minutes, Luis Le Saux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gardanne and the Millery players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Gardanne got a freekick which was hit by Luis Le Saux. In the 32nd minute, Gaétan Alberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 39th minute Moïse Leproust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Paradis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Gardanne's Marco Chareyron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Paradis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Luis Le Saux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gardanne's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Le Saux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustin Paradis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 minutes, Omer Godey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gardanne and the Millery players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gardanne getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Omer Godey hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Gardanne's goal looked a bit too open when Joffrey Vignot came free, but Bilal Péret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Gardanne defense, Fred Molinari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bilal Péret. The Gardanne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bilal Péret should have stopped the shot. Moïse Leproust took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augustin Paradis. Augustin Paradis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Millery's Paul Gardette got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Joffrey Vignot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Millery had won after a very even match.
