Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pierre-Loup Rohr made the kick off which started today's match. Gardanne's Marco Chareyron got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Chareyron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Daniel Provot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gardanne booed when Cysoing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolphe Peters didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Freddy Jacquemin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Gardanne's Rémi Delaroche broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gardanne's zone, Freddy Jacquemin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bilal Péret came out of the goal and Freddy Jacquemin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Le Saux in the 27th minute of play forced Cysoing's goalkeeper Daniel Provot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moïse Leproust charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moïse Leproust the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gardanne getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Moïse Leproust hit a great ball. Daniel Provot came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Gardanne's Marco Chareyron. But to his dismay, Marco Chareyron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Provot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Chareyron in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Chareyron was the one to do the kick off. Oscar Rouchy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Le Saux kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Mehdi Tardieu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bilal Péret skillfully saved the ball. When Moïse Leproust came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Gardanne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moïse Leproust couldn't finish the play. If Marco Chareyron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gardanne's zone, Pierre-Loup Rohr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bilal Péret came out of the goal and Pierre-Loup Rohr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moïse Leproust recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cysoing's Daniel Provot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cysoing from getting a goal against them. Bilal Péret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Loup Rohr in the 71st minute of play. Daniel Provot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Le Saux in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cysoing's goalkeeper Daniel Provot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pierre-Loup Rohr kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Moïse Leproust managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gardanne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moïse Leproust was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Rouchy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilal Péret having to interfere. The supporters of Cysoing booed when Gardanne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprien Combet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bilal Péret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Loup Rohr, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 91 minutes of play, Gardanne's Moïse Leproust made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Provot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Gardanne's Roman Said got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Cysoing supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gardanne's performance. The match ended with a win for Gardanne.
