Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabrice Gueret took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alix Desnoyers might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucien Geffard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alix Desnoyers ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucien Geffard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alix Desnoyers went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrice Gueret in the 9th minute of play forced Poissy's goalkeeper Lucien Geffard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxence Beuzelin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Batiste Lepoutre. Viriat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Romeo Guillet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batiste Lepoutre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claude Mazeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batiste Lepoutre having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Jean-Paul Oudot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucas Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Poissy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Suarez couldn't finish the play. Viriat's Alix Desnoyers got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Fabrice Gueret fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucien Geffard, passed just outside the right post. Ferdinand Chevalier hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Lucas Suarez made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Lucas Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batiste Lepoutre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claude Mazeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Batiste Lepoutre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Viriat got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Paul Oudot. Claude Mazeau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Augusto hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Batiste Lepoutre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claude Mazeau in the 70th minute. Batiste Lepoutre made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Claude Mazeau sent off a good shot on target. Claude Mazeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batiste Lepoutre having to interfere. Alix Desnoyers struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lucien Geffard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viriat.
