Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Steve Letourneur made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Ezy's Auguste Monet got a free kick in the 4th minute. Eugene Darracq took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Lechartier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Jacques Courtet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ezy's Benoit Monnerie did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Lechartier in the 18th minute of play forced Bernassière's goalkeeper Eugene Darracq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Arnold Lechartier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ezy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Lechartier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Benoit Monnerie successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute of the match Alban Moison sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benoit Monnerie skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Steve Letourneur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benoit Monnerie was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Thibaut Bourin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steve Letourneur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benoit Monnerie having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel De Barros to make the kick off. Daniel De Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Eugene Darracq made a huge save. Steve Letourneur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benoit Monnerie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezy's Benoit Monnerie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thibaut Bourin in the 56th minute of play. If Steve Letourneur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel De Barros in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugene Darracq saved Bernassière from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bernassière's Eloi Danjou got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Daniel De Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugene Darracq made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnold Lechartier in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Letourneur in the 82nd minute of play forced Ezy's goalkeeper Benoit Monnerie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benoit Monnerie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibaut Bourin in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Felicien Coquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benoit Monnerie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel De Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bernassière's Eugene Darracq got control of the ball when Arnold Lechartier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
