After having played for 5 minutes, Lamine Derycke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clusaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lamine Derycke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th match minute, Lanterne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Coulet to maneuver through the defense. Malik Bouisset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Derycke, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Omar Lance fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clusaz's protests and gave Omar Lance a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Omar Lance hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camille Jallais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Pacaud in the 16th minute of the match. Lamine Derycke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malik Bouisset having to make a save. Danny Pacaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camille Jallais having to interfere. Lanterne's Danny Pacaud got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donatien Sommier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Camille Jallais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Clusaz getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gérard Jacques hit a great ball. When Anatole Mairot came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Clusaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatole Mairot couldn't finish the play. Anatole Mairot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Bouisset having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lanterne's Danny Pacaud slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camille Jallais. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. Donatien Sommier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Camille Jallais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Donatien Sommier came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Lanterne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donatien Sommier couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Clusaz's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Antoine Binet came free, but Camille Jallais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anatole Mairot was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Lamine Derycke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clusaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Lamine Derycke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malik Bouisset breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lanterne's Pierre-Antoine Binet got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Lamine Derycke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malik Bouisset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Clusaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Lance to maneuver through the defense. Danny Pacaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camille Jallais having to interfere. Clusaz's Camille Jallais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Pacaud in the 76th minute of play. Lanterne's Malik Bouisset proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Lanterne from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Lanterne's Donatien Sommier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camille Jallais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Clusaz's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Pacaud came free, but Camille Jallais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatien Sommier in the 90th minute of play forced Clusaz's goalkeeper Camille Jallais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lanterne's Donatien Sommier in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clusaz's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the game, Anatole Mairot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Malik Bouisset was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Clusaz players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lanterne from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
