The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Junior Vallette made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Pierre-Antoine Raffalli sent off a good shot on target. Louison Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Hocine Riboulet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Junior Vallette. Mariquet's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Mariquet getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Maxence Dewulf hit a great ball. Junior Vallette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre-Antoine Raffalli in the 17th minute. When Pierre-Antoine Raffalli fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Souchez's protests and gave Pierre-Antoine Raffalli a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Ranson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Huber in the 30th minute of play. Benoît Courcelle kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Philippe Barrois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Ranson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Ranson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe Barrois in the 42nd minute of the match. When Pierre-Antoine Raffalli came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Souchez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Antoine Raffalli couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Philippe Barrois managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariquet's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Barrois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Ranson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pierre-Antoine Raffalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Souchez's Ramzi Bogard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Junior Vallette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simon Lepinay kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Junior Vallette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramzi Bogard in the 60th minute of play. Romeo Huber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Ranson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Souchez's Hocine Riboulet got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Romeo Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Philippe Barrois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Ranson having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Romeo Huber made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Souchez's Elias Ranson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierre-Antoine Raffalli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes, Souchez's Hocine Riboulet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Junior Vallette came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Souchez reached it. Philippe Barrois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Elias Ranson made a huge save. Junior Vallette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre-Antoine Raffalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramzi Bogard took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Junior Vallette. Junior Vallette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 93rd minute, Romeo Bouillet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Elias Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
