In the 2nd minute Noe Molinie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Vallette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philippe Barrois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Omer Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior Vallette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noe Molinie in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Couderc in the 14th minute of play forced Mariquet's goalkeeper Junior Vallette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Huber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Omer Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Mariquet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxence Dewulf to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philippe Barrois got free with Omer Gatti in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Mareuil were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noe Molinie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noe Molinie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Junior Vallette came out and tried to block the shot, but Noe Molinie slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Junior Vallette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noe Molinie, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Romeo Huber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mareuil's Omer Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 played minutes Mariquet got a freekick which was hit by Simon Lepinay. Salim Couderc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Junior Vallette made a huge save. Noe Molinie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junior Vallette was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Noe Molinie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Noe Molinie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.
