The audience thought a goal was coming when Maël Debarge got free with Junior Vallette in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Pouleina's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe Barrois came free, but Georges Laviolette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julien Guedj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean-Yves Moutoussamy, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Maxence Dewulf charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Maxence Dewulf hit a great ball. 3-1 became the score in the 66th minute when Julien Guedj elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Romeo Huber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Julien Guedj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pouleina booed when Mariquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jolan Barge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Junior Vallette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maël Debarge in the 84th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Mariquet's goal looked a bit too open when Maël Debarge came free, but Junior Vallette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariquet:s Junior Vallette showed great skill when he stopped Jean-Yves Moutoussamy:s penalty. Mariquet's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
