Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hubert Bruere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Obry in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Damien Gueguen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hubert Bruere, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Cannes's Louis Fily got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Bégude's Damien Gueguen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Bruere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Florent Roesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cannes's Hubert Bruere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cannes from getting a goal against them. After 20 minutes, Philibert Pelat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bégude and the Cannes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Kylian Tourte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cannes's supporters rose to their feet, but Kylian Tourte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Heintz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philibert Pelat got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Cannes booed when Bégude was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philibert Pelat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Joel Obry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bégude's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Louis Fily was slow to take the kick. During this time Cannes's players had a chance to rest. Louis Fily made a great header on Cannes's corner, it was just that Bégude's Maxime Heintz managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bastien Grard got free with Hubert Bruere in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Cannes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bastien Grard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Damien Gueguen managed to get in a good position for a shot. The wind increased when Arnaud Morant made the kick off in the second half. Florent Roesch hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Joel Obry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bégude's Joel Obry got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damien Gueguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hubert Bruere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Antony Vanhille who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cannes's Hubert Bruere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Damien Gueguen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hubert Bruere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damien Gueguen in the 79th minute of the match. Maxime Heintz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaud Morant in the 84th minute of the match. Arnaud Morant had several of the Bégude's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Maxime Heintz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cannes's Hubert Bruere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Gueguen in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Cannes were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bégude side.
