Ergal's Ferdinand Delsaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Le Roch in the 12th minute of play. Paulo Le Roch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferdinand Delsaux came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Le Roch slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Reynald Kling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Alexandre Abid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Antonin Coat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caillot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ergal the free kick. 23 minutes into the game, one of Caillot:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Victor Guittonneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Abid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Damas having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Abid to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Damas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Abid, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Paulo Damas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Abid in the 66th minute of the match. Alexandre Abid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ergal's Alexandre Abid got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Damas made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Victor Guittonneau sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Damien Dumont put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ferdinand Delsaux. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ergal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
