In the 3rd minute of the game, Dilan Le Bourhis landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Personne during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marck's Patrick Personne got a free kick in the 4th minute. Patrick Personne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cesar Salaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Theophile Laurenceau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatole Seznec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theophile Laurenceau couldn't finish the play. Trentemoult's Cesar Salaun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Trentemoult from getting a goal against them. Alix Vasse kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Theophile Laurenceau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anatole Seznec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Marck's Kevin Sable sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesar Salaun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Theophile Laurenceau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anatole Seznec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theophile Laurenceau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Theophile Laurenceau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anatole Seznec firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Theophile Laurenceau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trentemoult's supporters rose to their feet, but Theophile Laurenceau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anatole Seznec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Personne in the 58th minute of play forced Trentemoult's goalkeeper Cesar Salaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Sable might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesar Salaun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Sable ran back to his position shaking his head. Theophile Laurenceau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anatole Seznec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Trentemoult defense, Matthieu Masure kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Salaun. The Trentemoult fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Salaun should have stopped the shot. When Patrick Personne came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Marck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Personne couldn't finish the play. When Donald Rio fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trentemoult's protests and gave Donald Rio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Donald Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Personne in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Salaun saved Trentemoult from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Sable in the 83rd minute of play forced Trentemoult's goalkeeper Cesar Salaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Sable struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cesar Salaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marck. Anatole Seznec made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Theophile Laurenceau sent off a good shot on target. Anatole Seznec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Theophile Laurenceau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 96 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
