The audience was convinced that Charles Wrobel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Cuvilliez was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Brian Blondel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mulonnière and the Armoy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Armoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félicien Pellegrino to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mulonnière booed when Armoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Seux didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Thibaut Nevers in the 63rd minute really tested Marco Cuvilliez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some careless play in the Armoy defense, Charles Wrobel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Cuvilliez. The Armoy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Cuvilliez should have stopped the shot. Timothe Roy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Charles Wrobel might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Cuvilliez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Wrobel ran back to his position shaking his head. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Armoy! If Charles Wrobel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brandon Quenault in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marvin Demonchy saved Mulonnière from getting behind. When the match was over Mulonnière could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Armoy throughout the match.
