Joaquim Le Bret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Bour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc Briens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Le Bret having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Renan Chevreau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre-Louis Desnoyers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Norbert Ripert scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierre-Louis Desnoyers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Wattiessart getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Joris Laborie hit a great ball. Renan Chevreau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pierre-Louis Desnoyers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Ripert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre-Louis Desnoyers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wattiessart's goalkeeper Pierre-Louis Desnoyers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Renan Chevreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Louis Desnoyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Chevreau in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A collision led to Greux getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marcel Poudevigne hit a great ball. Kilian Bour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Le Bret having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Ripert got free with Pierre-Louis Desnoyers in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kilian Bour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Briens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joaquim Le Bret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wattiessart's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Renan Chevreau scored to the left of an out of position Pierre-Louis Desnoyers, making the score, 0-3. With a little luck, Wattiessart's Pierre-Louis Desnoyers got control of the ball when Norbert Ripert tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marc Briens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Greux walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
