Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claude Labruyère started the match with the kick off. Gildas Christin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Labruyère in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Ghislain Grillet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Saclay's goalkeeper Jason Maheo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Giquel. 15 minutes into the match, Ripelle's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Augendre came free, but Gildas Christin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Junior Augendre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildas Christin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Giquel took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Maheo. Jason Maheo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 24 minutes, Jacob Loup mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saclay and the Ripelle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gildas Christin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Augendre, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Labruyère in the 35th minute of play forced Ripelle's goalkeeper Gildas Christin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gildas Christin came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Saclay's Claude Labruyère. But to his dismay, Claude Labruyère quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Claude Labruyère sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johan Giquel was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Ripelle's Gildas Christin got control of the ball when Junior Augendre tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ripelle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Gildas Christin, was totally fooled by Saclay's Bruce Nay, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Ghislain Grillet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Giquel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Ghislain Grillet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Maheo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior Augendre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildas Christin having to interfere. Gildas Christin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Labruyère in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Saclay's Jacob Loup got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Johan Giquel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ripelle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Saclay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
