The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Louboutin during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chereng's Pacome Cathelain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyril Quet in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Tignet's goal looked a bit too open when Florent Gobin came free, but Simon Jean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pacome Cathelain prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyril Quet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tignet's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franck Bagard in the 53rd minute. Franck Bagard made a great header on Tignet's corner, it was just that Chereng's Pacome Cathelain managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 56th match minute, Chereng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Gregori to maneuver through the defense. In the 57thth minute of the game Charles Louboutin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chereng's Pacome Cathelain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Tignet's Charles Louboutin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pacome Cathelain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pacome Cathelain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Louboutin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brandon Dournel in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Jean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Franck Bagard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Tignet booed when Chereng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omer Revault didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cyril Quet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pacome Cathelain was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Pacome Cathelain came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tignet's Cyril Quet. But to his dismay, Cyril Quet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 87th minute, Florent Gobin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Brandon Dournel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chereng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brandon Dournel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tignet were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chereng for a fine match.
