Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodolphe Dorange started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Charly Boucard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyril Quet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Jestin in the 6th minute of play forced Meyreuil's goalkeeper Carl Boudaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Cyril Quet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Boudaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Dulin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Rodolphe Dorange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Simon Jean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolphe Dorange in the 13th minute of play forced Tignet's goalkeeper Simon Jean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Tignet's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolphe Dorange came free, but Simon Jean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolphe Dorange was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Meyreuil's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustave Chaigneau got free with Simon Jean in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tignet's Simon Jean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolphe Dorange in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Meyreuil got a freekick which was hit by Gaspard Benaissa. In the 25th minute Terry Jestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Boudaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Meyreuil got a freekick which was hit by John Dulin. 32 minutes into the match, Meyreuil's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Jestin came free, but Carl Boudaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Dulin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rodolphe Dorange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustave Chaigneaus short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Simon Jean to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Meyreuil getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonas Malaval hit a great ball. Carl Boudaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franck Bagard in the 44th minute of play. Gustave Chaigneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Jean having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Terry Jestin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rodolphe Dorange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rodolphe Dorange came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Meyreuil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolphe Dorange couldn't finish the play. Simon Jean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolphe Dorange in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tignet's goalkeeper Simon Jean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolphe Dorange in the 87th minute of play forced Tignet's goalkeeper Simon Jean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meyreuil's Gustave Chaigneau got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tignet's Simon Jean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolphe Dorange in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Gustave Chaigneau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meyreuil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustave Chaigneau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyril Quet might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Boudaud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyril Quet ran back to his position shaking his head. Meyreuil walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
