Nolan Mesnier started the match with the kick off. If Dilan Morel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dilan Morel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Lenny Carrillo made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Lenny Carrillo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nolan Mesnier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Fabry having to interfere. Dilan Morel struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Lenny Carrillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marsinge. Nolan Mesnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Schiltigheim's Nolan Mesnier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerald Fabry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dilan Morel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Lenny Carrillo made a huge save. Schiltigheim's Lenny Carrillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Schiltigheim from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Schiltigheim's zone, Dilan Morel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenny Carrillo came out of the goal and Dilan Morel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batiste Siebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Carrillo having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Cesar Hell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match Abraham Beaudouin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerald Fabry skillfully saved the ball. Nolan Mesnier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gerald Fabry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Cauquil scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerald Fabry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nolan Mesnier scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerald Fabry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Schiltigheim were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute Nolan Mesnier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Fabry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Cauquil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gerald Fabry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Lavandier hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Dilan Morel hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gerald Fabry acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Donatien Fardeau. The supporters of Marsinge booed when Schiltigheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Beaudouin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerald Fabry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nolan Mesnier in the 76th minute of the match. Batiste Siebert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Schiltigheim got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Beaudouin. In the 85th minute, Cesar Hell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Schiltigheim's Lenny Carrillo didn't even have to move. 88 minutes into the match, Marsinge's goalkeeper Gerald Fabry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Cauquil. If Nolan Mesnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dilan Morel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Schiltigheim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Schiltigheim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
