After having played for 6 minutes, Nolan Mesnier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schiltigheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nolan Mesnier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Léon Desprez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 8 minutes had been played. After recieving a nice pass, Schiltigheim's Abraham Beaudouin tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nolan Mesnier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Delair having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Tanguy Gaubert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22nd play minutes Nolan Mesnier shot 1-0, a short shot which went by José Delair and just under the crossbar into goal. 27 minutes into the match, Victor Cauquil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Delair. Cormontreuil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Cauquil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cormontreuil's zone, Victor Cauquil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Delair came out of the goal and Victor Cauquil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Delair didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Nolan Mesnier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Delair having to interfere. Nolan Mesnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victor Cauquil came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Schiltigheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Cauquil couldn't finish the play. José Delair showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nolan Mesnier, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
53 minutes into the game, Bart Virapin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cormontreuil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schiltigheim the free kick. In the 55th minute, Nolan Mesnier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Delair was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. José Delair showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nolan Mesnier in the 60th minute of the match. Tanguy Gaubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Carrillo having to interfere. If Tanguy Gaubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Emmanuel Vallet charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierre-Emmanuel Vallet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Schiltigheim's Pierre-Emmanuel Vallet got a free kick in the 68th minute. Schiltigheim's Lenny Carrillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Schiltigheim from getting a goal against them. José Delair showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nolan Mesnier in the 77th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Cormontreuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Virapin to maneuver through the defense. Victor Cauquil struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. José Delair didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schiltigheim. José Delair took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Cauquil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Schiltigheim fully deserved thier win.
