Barre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Garbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djamel Pradier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Djamel Pradier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpiquet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djamel Pradier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matheo Gruet came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicolas Cazenave could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Léopold Coupat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Cazenave was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Djamel Pradier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barre succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carpiquet had controlled the match.
